​The Dance Annex

Each spring, The Dance Annex hosts a master class series. During the fall, master classes and workshops are held periodically. Guest teachers at The Dance Annex have included the following:

- Judith Jamison (b. 1943) in Beyond the Steps  

  • Gregory King (Horton-based modern) - visiting assistant professor at Swarthmore College and former assistant professor at Dean College; 
  • Ariana Champlin (contemporary) - co-artistic director of 49th Parallel Dance Company;
  • Glenn Davis (ballet) - instructor and principal dancer of Maine State Ballet; and
  • John Ling (ballet) - dance faculty of Brewster Academy. 
 
Events at The Dance Annex include performance opportunities, master classes and workshops with guest artists and teachers as well as Dance Annex staff. 

Performance opportunities are provided for all students with annual Holiday and June showcases as well as additional opportunities for advanced and professional adult dancers.
